Santa Claus flies to Princeton Airport!

Come see Santa fly to the Princeton Airport this Christmas eve!

That’s right, thirty-eight years ago the tradition of Santa Claus flying to the Princeton Airport was brought to lift. The tradition continues on December 24th, the Nierenberg family (owners of the airport) will open their hangar doors to children awaiting Santa’s arrival. Santa is planned to arrive at 11:00 A.M. Parents are advised to bring their little ones prior to then as the Princeton Airport Flying Tigers will be serving cocoa and cookies. Accompanying the Tigers is local folk singer Pat McKinley who will be leading the audience in holiday songs anticipating Santa’s arrival.

To participate: Bring a wrapped gift with your child’s name in LARGE PRINT on the outside to Princeton Airport by Dec. 16th (Maximum size- 12”)

Also: Bring an unwrapped gift for a needy child to be distributed by the Mercer County Board of Social Services

Food for the Needy: Donations to the Food Bank of Somerset County will be collected. A receptacle will be in the lobby for canned and boxed foods for local food banks

Hint: Santa will distribute gifts in the order that they are received at the airport. Siblings should have the same wrapping paper and tied together. Gifts will not be accepted on the 24th.
